Our client wanted to create a more open and comfortable family living environment with a strong connection between the interior and the garden. With young children, it was particularly important for them to maintain clear views towards the outdoor play and pool areas while cooking or spending time in the main living spaces. The brief therefore focused on improving visual connectivity, natural light and the relationship between indoor and outdoor living.
The design was developed as a single-storey home with generous open-plan living spaces and a strong visual connection to the garden. Large areas of glazing allow natural light to reach deep into the interior while giving the kitchen and main living areas clear views across the outdoor spaces and swimming pool.
The layout creates an easy flow between the kitchen, dining and living areas, extending naturally onto the terrace and garden. Deep overhangs, full-height glazing and carefully positioned openings help blur the boundary between inside and outside, creating a comfortable and connected family home.
